Comedian Bret Ernst can current be seen in the feature film VINCE VAUGHN'S WILD WEST COMEDY SHOW, which documents Ernst with Vaughn & 3 other comedians as they perform to sold out crowds in a 30 night 30 venue tour across
America. WILD WEST holds the record for the largest theatrical release of
a documentary in history. The movie opened to critically acclaimed reviews & Ernst was singled out as one of the best new comedians in the country.
WILD WEST was released on DVD June 3, 2008.
Bret has recurred on the hit SHOWTIME series WEEDS, and has guest starred on
CSI: NY. He appeared in Artie Lang's movie, BEER LEAGUE & hosted the series WRESTLING SOCIETY X on MTV. His stand up has been featured on THE LATE LATE SHOW on CBS, & on COMEDY CENTRAL'S PREMIUM BLEND. Most recently, Bret headlined his own episode of the SHOWTIME series COMEDY WITHOUT BORDERS,/i>,
which is set to air October 23, 2008. He has made celebrity appearances on
THE CHELSEA LATELY SHOW/E!, COMICS UNLEASHED/ABC, E!'s TOP TEN and THE SPORTS LIST/FOX.
Bret can be seen headlining at top clubs across the country, as well as in Las Vegas & Atlantic City. He is highly in demand in Los Angeles, appearing regularly at all major venues. Bret has earned the sought after honor of marquee status on the Sunset Strip, performing nightly at the top clubs in Hollywood.
Bret is currently partnered with acclaimed producer/director Rod Lurie to develop his own series.
Born in New Jersey, Bret went to high school at Plantation High in South Florida, played collegiate level football at C.W. Post in New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
